Go Inside Out this semester! Students will discover how to portray emotions on stage with Pop and Broadway hits. They’ll wear their hearts on their sleeves in a Main Stage showcase at the end of the semester.

The Spring Semester is designed for Ensemble Acting: Improv, Scene Work and Collaboration. Learn what it means to be an actor in a fun and supportive environment! Students will work on physical storytelling, creating stage pictures, and character development as they explore risk-taking and the power of bold choices.

This class is for students with some experience and familiarity with the basics of acting. Level 2 delves deeper into fundamentals, improvisation, physicality, and more.
PLEASE NOTE: You may only take this class if you have done one of the following: Taken Acting 1 for one year at CMSMT, taken a year-long acting class elsewhere, or performed in 3 or more productions.

In this class, experienced students will explore more complex scenes or topics, different types of text (verse, prose, etc.), diverse styles, and more.

Former Rockette, Broadway dancer and TCU faculty member Merrill West teaches complex work across the floor in various styles (Bob Fosse, Michael Bennett, etc.), plus warm-up, technique, and body awareness. This professional-level class is truly advanced and is open to high school students to young adults wanting to build and maintain their skills.

This class lets young performers blast off on an adventure! Your child will explore the art of performance through a story of their own making on the historic Casa Mañana Main Stage.
Apprentice CLASS

The Apprentice Class is a year-long, process-based course that focuses on developing students’ technique in dance, acting and voice. Professional Teaching Artists instruct students in industry best practices, including auditioning, selecting material and college preparation. Enrollment in the class also includes the opportunity to attend Master Classes taught by top Broadway performers. Students receive special consideration for Casa Mañana Main Stage productions. Enrollment in the Class does not guarantee casting in the annual Apprentice Program Production.
Auditions for the Apprentice Class 2024-25 school year will be held in August 2024.

Our All-Abilities program is designed specifically for youth and adults with special needs, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or social/sensory differences. We are happy to partner with Junior League of Fort Worth this year, providing volunteer and financial support for this one-of-a-kind program!
