JOB TITLE: Box Office Associate

REPORTS TO: Box Office Manager

OBJECTIVE: Provide support for the marketing team by giving excellent customer service to patrons through the ticket sales process.


  • Part-Time
  • 10-20 hours per week

Box Office is open Tuesday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and evening hours based on the weekly performance schedule.


  • Providing excellent customer service to all guests of Casa Manana
  • Processing ticket sales and answering patron questions with poise and patience
  • Balancing cash and receipts with manager
  • Addresses all customer concerns related to ticket processes, policies, seating maps and show details
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested

EDUCATION:    High school diploma or equivalent


Must have strong customer service skills; Proficient with computer software systems; Organized, efficient and detail-oriented

EXPERIENCE: Background in customer service required. Previous box office experience preferred.

JOB TITLE: Bar Staff

REPORTS TO: House Manager

OBJECTIVE: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a smooth operation of the bar and merchandise areas.  Work in a fun environment.


  • Evening and Weekend hours based on weekly theatre schedule.
  • Not to exceed 40 hrs per week without prior approval.


  • Ensure that operations run smoothly for patrons who attend the theatre
  • Be TABC licensed and maintain all guidelines according to TABC
  • Help managers maintain inventory
  • Stock bar and merchandise
  • Take payments through Square and give correct change to patrons
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested
  • Table service experience a plus

EDUCATION:    High School Diploma or equivalent, some college


Friendly attitude, strong verbal, organizational, and communication.

EXPERIENCE:    Customer service, Bartending experience, cashier experience a plus.

JOB TITLE: Costume Stitcher

REPORTS TO: Wardrobe Supervisor

OBJECTIVE: Provide support to wardrobe supervisor for in-house costume shop for theatre that produces 11 shows per season.

HOURS: Part-Time as needed for theatre schedule


  • Build costumes from patterns or draping
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the shop (clerical work, running errands, costume research and shopping)
  • Pre-production and post-production set up/take down of dressing rooms
  • Maintain costumes and any hairpieces/wigs
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested by wardrobe supervisor

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent, some college

SKILLS: Applicants should be detail-oriented and organized, have computer skills in Word, Excel, and internet browsers, and must have a car and valid driver’s license.

EXPERIENCE:    Applicants must have proficient experience constructing costumes of various materials from flat patterns and/or draping.

JOB TITLE: Development Associate

REPORTS TO: Director of Development

OBJECTIVE: Supports the development department by making asks to lower-level donors, cultivating new donors and assisting in all donor events, stewardship, benefit fulfillment, donor database, reports and all other development projects.


  • Full-time Exempt
  • Office Hours:  Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Evening and Weekend hours based on weekly theatre and after-hours donor events as scheduled


  • Execute fundraising initiatives that include but are not limited to developing a successful annual giving strategy for donors $1,000 and below.
  • Manage a portfolio of lower-level donors and donor prospects for cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of annual fund, corporate sponsorships and season ticket holders.
  • Oversee all aspects of gift processing, tax receipting and acknowledgments in a timely manner as well as supporting constituent records management.
  • Develop and execute a successful End of Year appeal.
  • Fulfill and handle all annual benefits and all gala benefits for donors.
  • Generate donor Honor Roll for Broadway and Children’s Theatre Playbill.
  • Assist in all aspects of Board Meetings (e.g. reminder emails, meeting packets and minutes, RSVP tracking and coordinating meals for meetings).
  • Support the planning and execution of annual gala, auction, and all donor events (Dinner on Stage, Producer’s Club and Que Pasas).
  • Create Casa Mañana’s Annual Report.
  • Coordinate and execute all 3rd party events.
  • Must be present and assist in preparation for all donor events including set up and clean up.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Must have great attitude, ability to work with a close-knit team, must be team player and must be willing to go above and beyond expectations.

EDUCATION: College degree or equivalent

SKILLS: Good typing; exceptional verbal, organizational, and communication skills; basic office equipment, Microsoft Office Suite and cash handling.  Raisers Edge and Archtics database experience a plus.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years in development or non-profit experience.

JOB TITLE: Education Administrator

REPORTS TO: Director of Theatre for Youth

OBJECTIVE: Provide administrative and creative support for education initiatives, classes and programming.


  • Full-time Exempt
  • Office Hours:  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Evening and Weekend hours as needed based on class schedule



  • Provide administrative support for all education programming
  • Day-to-day communications with parents and guardians regarding classes, registration and general inquiries.
  • Day-to-day communications/operations for the Betty Lynn Buckley Awards.
  • CRM management and data tracking
  • Other duties as assigned by director of theatre for youth


  • 4-6 skills-based and/or exploratory musical theatre-based classes per week (depending on schedule, enrollment and candidate’s skillset)
  • Serve as occasional substitute for other teachers
  • Help coordinate culminating presentations (end-of-semester and/or end-of-year)
  • Will have a teaching role in summer programming
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in musical theatre, arts education, arts administration, related field or equivalent work experience
  • SKILLS: Strong communication skills (interpersonal and written) and the ability to prioritize multiple projects; dedication to promoting and advocating for diversity, equity, inclusion and access in all educational programming; a fundamentally collaborative mindset.
  • EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years in theatre education; theatre arts teaching experience with ages Pre-K through adolescent; production and/or creative experience in one or more of these areas: directing, choreography, music direction, design and/or playwriting.

JOB TITLE: Production Manager

REPORTS TO: President & Executive Producer 

OBJECTIVE: Leads production team for a professional theatre that produces 10-15 mainstage productions, 6-8 cabaret productions and various education events per season. 


  • Full-time Exempt
  • Hours based on theatre schedule


  • Contribute to the development of and management of production budgets  
  • Maintain a clear line of communication between directors, designers, stage managers, musicians and other show-related staff 
  • Determine staffing needs, hire and onboard stage management, overhire labor and show crew 
  • Develop production schedules and conduct regular production meetings 
  • Review paperwork such as receipts and timesheets and provides approval 
  • Participate in leadership meetings with president & executive producer, general manager, director of theatre for youth and director of development 
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed 
  • Supervise show operation functions, ensuring all departments are on time and within budget 
  • General oversight of load-ins/outs, technical rehearsals and performances
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment 
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested by president & executive producer 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in technical theatre, related field or equivalent work experience. 

SKILLS: Proficiency in technical theatre practices; excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and organized; flexible and able to lead an entire production team across multiple departments with full-time, part-time and contract employees; budgeting; understanding of the design process; experience with AEA and USA agreements; proficiency in CAD designs and Microsoft Office. Physical demands of this position may require work in a warehouse; applicant must be able to lift 50 pounds. 

EXPERIENCE:    Minimum 5 years’ experience in theatrical management with producing theatre.
