Três Figuerias home in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, has created a ‘hug tunnel’ so that loved ones can reunite. 28 seniors have been living in isolation since March 17; many holidays and special occasions have passed without the presence of visitors. The creation of this tunnel has helped residents combat sadness and spend quality time with relatives.
John Krasinski’s ‘Some Good News’ Submitted for Emmy Consideration
‘Some Good News’ has been submitted for consideration in the “Best Variety Talk Series” category. The series, which aired on YouTube, gained a following during times when audiences needed something positive to keep them going.
Cheryl Allison and Honk the Goose
Cheryl Allison, who has graced Casa Mañana’s stage many times, has found a new friend during these times. Meet Honk the Goose, an abandoned bird that Allison discovered on her daily outings to a park in Dallas. We’re happy to report that Honk now has a wonderful home at Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation.
NASA Names D.C. Headquarters After Mary W. Jackson

Mary Winston Jackson was NASA’s first Black woman engineer. Jackson’s work was featured in the 2016 film, Hidden Figures. “We are honored that NASA continues to celebrate the legacy of our mother and grandmother Mary W. Jackson.” said her daughter, Carolyn Lewis, in a statement released by NASA.
