Braxton Johnson and Phillip Brown join Curtis Wiley in Casa Mañana’s You Send Me – A Salute to the Life and Music of Sam Cooke.
Johnson, a tenor, and Brown, a bass, have been stunning audiences with their harmonious voices. We can’t wait to hear more of their talents this week.
Johnson, an Arkansas native, has previously been seen as Lord Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Trinculo in The Tempest, Man in the Yellow Suit in Tuck Everlasting, Jose Ibarra in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Dr. Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Show.
Brown has an array of previous experience as well, including Little Shop of Horrors at STAGES, Beauty and the Beast and Jungle Book at Dallas Children’s Theatre, Unlock’d at Queensbury Theatre and Shrek the Musical, How I Became a Pirate, The Magic Treehouse; A Night in New at Main Street Theater.
