2020 Buckley Awards Adjudicator Information
The Betty Lynn Buckley Awards is a scholarship program that stands to promote and celebrate excellence in high school musical theatre. Named after Fort Worth’s own, Tony Award-winning Best Actress, FWISD and Casa Mañana Alumnae Betty Lynn Buckley. This program is open to Denton, Wise, Parker, Hood, Johnson and Tarrant County public or private high schools that perform a fall or spring musical or play.
Buckley Award Adjudicators are an integral part of this process as they attend select high school production throughout the academic year. Following the production, judges will turn in completed nomination forms scoring and critiquing the performance and design elements of the production, as well as provide written feedback for the schools.
Should you be chosen as an adjudicator, you will receive a $50 travel stipend per show attended.
