Cost: $275

Grades: 2-6

Description: This vigorous weekend workshop introduces students to the rehearsal process which is required of the young actors who perform in mainstage productions at Casa Mañana. Simulating Casa’s fast-paced and demanding professional rehearsal process, this class will focus on students’ ability to learn, rehearse, and retain choreography and vocals from a show typically produced in Casa’s children’s theatre season. Students will also learn about professional theatre etiquette that they can apply to other professional theatre rehearsal settings. Interested students should have previous dance and singing experience, and will be expected to demonstrate a high level of focus, endurance and work ethic. A high level or preparation before the class meets will also be expected. Please note that enrollment in this class does not guarantee casting in a main stage production at Casa.
