Tristin Thomas takes to the stage August 6-8 as “Clyde” in Bonnie & Clyde. His journey into theatre started as an attempt to break out of his shell – we think it worked! From his first performance at Casa (My Son Pinocchio) to his studies at Roosevelt University in Chicago – theatre has been the “leading role” of his life. His previous Apprentice Program shows include Carrie the Musical, Sweeney Todd and Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. This fourth and final Apprentice Program of Tristan’s. Sometime in the near future, we hope to see him in one of his dream shows – A Midsummer Night’s Dream or Next to Normal.
When friends encouraged Samuel Majors to audition for the middle school show, Alice in Wonderland, a love was born. Roles like the “10 of Hearts” in Alice in Wonderland and “Nigel” in Something Rotten have prepared him to embody the physicality and personality of “Ted” in this year’s Apprentice Program. When not on stage, you can find Samuel at TCU – pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre AND a BA in Math.
