Meet Emma Grace Freeman! Jumping into theatre at 5-years-old was natural for her, as both of her parents were (and still are) involved in the arts. As Emma Grace prepares for her role as Young Bonnie, she hopes to incorporate some of her most recent roles. Set to star as Matilda in Matilda the Musical in 2020 (rescheduled to 2022), Emma Grace has been practicing incorporating her hard work into new roles. “Even though I haven’t gotten to perform [as] Matilda, this character will forever hold a special place in my heart. [It] will influence my portrayal of Young Bonnie by the way she dreams big and is wise beyond her years.” Emma Grace’s love for the arts shines through in every aspect of her actions – we can’t wait to have her back under the Dome!
If you’ve seen a Children’s Theatre show at Casa Mañana, you’ve likely seen Patrick Bilbow on stage. Patrick has been a Casa kid since his very first Broadway Babies class at 4-years-old and performed in his first show under the Dome just two years later. Starring as Young Clyde in Bonnie & Clyde, Patrick plans to use the physicality and agility from his role as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol at Dallas Theatre Center. “It was a very physically demanding show, which I love.” When asked about the one actor he’d love to share the stage with, Patrick answered, “I would love to share the stage again with my sister, Ivy. We have done four shows together and it’s really cool to get to work with your sibling.” Don’t miss Patrick on stage August 6-8!
