Meet the Performers

Adrianna HicksAdrianna Hicks

Adrianna Hicks is a Texas native with a B.F.A degree in Musical Theatre from The University of Oklahoma’s Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre. Throughout her career, Adrianna has had the honor of working with so many talented and inspiring artists such as Jerry Mitchell, Michael Bublé, and Heather Headley. Her Broadway debut was the revival of The Color Purple, working alongside Jennifer Hudson and rising star, Cynthia Erivo. Her previous Regional/ Broadway credits include playing the role Dorothy in The Wiz (Sacramento Music Circus), the Fortune Teller in Disney’s Aladdin (Broadway), and she is currently cast as Catherine of Aragon in the original Broadway production of SIX the Musical. Nicole Vanessa Ortiz

Originally from Newark, NJ, Nicole’s career started at an early age when she was the four-time champion of the NJN Hispanic Youth Showcase. In 2005 she was a Top 45 finalist in Season 5 of American Idol. Following graduation from the esteemed Arts High School of the Performing Arts, Nicole was the Grand Prize winner of “Wendy’s Next Great Voice” on the Wendy Williams show, in addition to being a four-time winner and/or finalist at Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater in 2012. Her recent theatre credits include Smokey Joe’s Café (off-Broadway), Footloose (The Kennedy Center), Ragtime (Serenbe Theatre) and most recently she was cast as “Deloris Van Cartier” in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Sister Act the Musical.
