Addie Morales joins the cast of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story as “Maria Elena.” This is not her first show under the Dome; her last production at Casa was West Side Story.
Originally from New Orleans, LA, Addie moved to DFW in 2007 but currently lives in NYC.
Her start in acting began when her voice teacher recommended Camp Casa to her, “The musical was Seussical Jr. I never looked back.”

Addie’s favorite music genre is normally something acoustic, “There’s beauty in simplicity.” When asked if she resembles her character or connects with her, Addie says, “Maria Elena is a minority both as a woman and Latinx in the music world. That’s certainly something we have in common! Her heart and compassion speak to me.”
To prepare for her role as “Maria Elena” Addie has tea with lemon and honey, a steaming session and listens to some good tunes!
