What To Do At The Audition

Please bring a current picture with resume stapled to the back.  Be prepared to sing 16 bars of a song from the show, as well as a short monologue, either comedic or dramatic.

 

Contract

Actor's Equity COST Contract Tier 1 with Tier 3 ratios (Concession letter will be posted)  Minimum weekly salary is $613.00.

 

Important Dates

All rehearsals and performances are at Casa Mañana Theatre, 3101 West Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76107.  The first rehearsal is Tuesday, May 20, 2008.  Run dates are June 3 - 8.  Showtimes are: Tuesday at 7:30pm; Wednesday at 7:30pm; Thursday at 7:30pm; Friday at 8:00pm; Saturday at 2:00 & 8:00pm; and Sunday at 2:00pm & 7:00pm.

 

Roles Available (strong actors needed)

Matt - the Boy (tenor / baritone)

Luisa - the Girl (soprano)

Hucklebee - the Boy's father (baritone)

Bellomy - the Girl's father (tenor / baritone)

Henry - the Old Actor (non-singing)

Mortimer - the man who dies - an actor, pretending to be an American Indian (non-singing)

The Mute - who at times acts the part of the Wall (non-singing, non-speaking)
